Who Am I?

Hi My Name is C. Brent Spackman.  The "C" is for Carl but I go by "Brent".  I am a husband of over 29 years and counting, a father of 4 children, and a grandfather of 4 grandchildren and counting.   You could say I am just a regular guy in one sense, and I am also not able to give wisdom on all things by any means. However, I have a burning desire to share all that I learn with others - it is a deeply rooted passion in me to share/teach what I learn that blesses me.  I want to love and to bless you - whoever is reading this right now.  In the words of the Michael Bublé song, "And I promise you kid, to give so much more than I get! Yeah, I just haven't met you yet".  I love to learn, and love to teach and share what I learn to others, and love to meet and love people, and most importantly I love God.  Many of our culture talk about how they identify.  Although our identity in today's culture has become centered around gender issues, it is very important to know who you are. My purpose in life is rooted in who I identify as, and guides my perspective on how I live and is why I ultimately know I should live fearlessly.  Living fearless leads inevitably to abundant living which is what I want for everyone who's lives I am so fortunate to touch.  Abundance for one person is certainly not always the same for another person, but we should all identify accurately by saying the following statement:

  

I identify as a child of God because I know I am a child of God, I must not  fear because God has a perfect plan/purpose for my life - even if I can't see what it is yet!  Until God's purpose and plan for my life is fulfilled I must not and will not fear death because His Will for me will be done.
 

How can I know, and how can you know, that you are also a child of God too???
 

These Bible Verses gives us a clue and are Jesus Christ's words about his "sheep":
John 10:16 I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd.

John 10:27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me;
